All that it seems~

(Kunami walked off. =D. Mem's the grey... lol.)

I looked at the stallion and sighed, looking over his shoulder to the bush. I sighed again then looked at him. I nodded.
"Yes. I know.... I don't feel safe here... but where do I? Yes, we should get out of here... and fast. Thank you." I smiled slightly, a pained grimace would be a better term I guess, and turned slowly, heading back to stand at the very edge of the group, trying to rest each of my sore legs in turn.

I watched Kunami and the stallion, Eclips. I couldn't hear the words being shared so I just watched. I didn't move when she came back over for she stood at the very edge. The tip. Not wanting to be in the attention, or to join in. I sighed.

(ooc: Sorry. XD I think I fixed it. *frazzled*)

Xeik narrowed his only eye, glaring at the woods. "The minute you think you can get up, miss," he said, turning to look at the wounded mare on the ground, "please do. And do not hesitate to ask for help. I will gladly aid you." Turning back to the forest, he kept his ears perked and his head held high, waiting for what he knew was coming...he just knew exactly what it was.

((New character tiem!))

Large, powerful hooves crashed into the ground, easily shaking the pebbles on the forest floor around each step. Nostrils flared as he took heavy breaths; deep breaths. Breaths that distended his diaphragm and carried his weight. That kept him going, no matter what faced him. He stopped when he caught scent of others. Not beasts, but horses. Standing at the edge of the forest, hidden within it's boundaries, he watched them, wondering just what they were doing on a land that belonged to him and him alone.

Ooc: Okays, but no poking the cast D:

Riff glanced up at the stallion and nodded slightly, heaving her hind quarters beneath her body and raising into a semi sitting position. Blowing hard, she heaved herself to her unstable legs and took a wobbly step.
"...Seems to be..." she paused, taking a longer stride "...easier to move around..."
Snorting softly, she leaned against the stallion that had offered to help her and smiled a little "What was in those herbs...?" she said, softly rasping.

(That's kool. =D. Cast? What cast? I will wait for others to post before I do. Kunami and Mem are sorta sittin' down for a while.)

He looked back at the mare leaning against him with a gentle glance. "They've got natural healing properties," he replied softly. Xeik stood solid for her, lifting his head a little to look back and check her wounds. "I'm honestly surprised they still grow, but leave it to Eclips to find them." He looked towards his companion stallion before back to the forest. He knew something was there...

"Eclips," he started, "are you ready to head out? Are the others ready? I've a feeling we should move out soon..."

((ooc: Btw, from now on, I'll put a little ~*~*~ between character posts. So it'll be like

Eclips shifted and watched the Palomino. Things were just like home; uneasy, off, bent....
"I don't like this I'm getting a bad feeling... And Xeik," He put on a lewd grin, "You are a busy little gentleman aren't you? Planning on mounting things?" He teased, flattening out his ears and tilting his head to one side with a low nicker. Eclips' grin dissapeared and he gave a good full body shake before he bounced a little on his front pasterns and sat back on his hind legs. Carefully he balanced for a few moments getting in a good survay of the surroundings then came back down with a light thud in the snow and stretched his back legs which were not in the slightest used to holding such a load.
"I think I'm fat." He groaned.

Ooc: o_o I'm waiting for Apache to reply, actually xP So many characters...I barely understand what's going on anymore xP

( ooc: It is getting hard to follow. XD But should clear up... from what I've gathered, Riff is leaning on Xeik, Eclips is doing his own thing, Kunami is doing some deep thinking, Mem is watching, Sprinkle (almost called him sparkle and cracker) and evil whacko stallion is coming to kill us all... I think that's about it. I haven't seen Apache in a while... )

(Hmm... Locked is about right with my horsies things... I think... -Scratches head and checks- I know. It is a little confusing... I am getting used to it tho, my whole life is confusin...)


I watched each horses carefully, not letting my gaze linger on Eclips for long for I knew he was watching me. I changed legs, not noticing the painful burns that ran up my leg. They didn't hurt as much anymore. I lowered my head a little, checking every now and then if he was still looking. Stop! I commanded myself, shaking my head. I felt a shiver run up and back down my spine as my hairs stood on end. I backed away from the group, heading towards the bush again.
"Please," I said in a strained whisper. "Let's go!"

I watched Kunami with anxious and critical eyes. She felt like my own daughter. I felt the need to protect her. I was so proteective of her. I let a low whinny escape from my throat and lowered my head to the ground. My freckled coat rippled over my ribs as I snatched a mouthful of grass. It felt good after long, hard days of travel.

[ooc: sorry. ive been uber busy recently. I am getting a foal on saturday!! *squeels* Ive been shopping constantly and going mental since i found out. xD sorry - i be back now though ]

Apache launched himself from the ground, a short strided canter putting him back into the clearing between the bushes. He didnt speak, listening to his thoughts still spinning round his head. He put his muzzle down to the floor and walked over to Eclips, nudging his shoulder and muttering in a fast, muffled squeek: "Can we go? Its getting pretty freaky round here, and it seems like they'd follow you rather than me." Apache's ears were drooping and a fed up expression caught his face.

(ooc: Awesome on the foal, just remember not to ride it all all until it's about 2 and a half or it's legs will be absolutely ruined as it get's older. XD I've been seeing a lot of people riding the foals and it just destroys them no matter what people say. *shakes fist at them* Race horses have crap legs for a reason when they get old. )

Eclips sidestepped away from the nudges on instnct and looked back and fourth, taking steps through the deep snow toward the forest. He couldn't shake the feeling that they were not in for a happy day.
"Come on Xeik, we sould get the heck out of this deathtrap before we run into something really horrible."

(ooc: <_< Guys, I'm just going to ignore the weather reports on the main site. The weather will be changing way to erratically in the RP. It's already gone from deep freeze snow to light rain and hot breezes...XD; So I'm just going to say it's clear right now and the snow is starting to melt. ^^ )

Xeik nodded, carefully turning so the mare at his side could stay against him if she wished. "If we go east, we should be safe." He waited to see if the mare would follow before he started moving. If she wanted or needed help, he wouldn't leave her behind.

Sprinkles gathered his little one and began following the others, unsure really of his place in the herd anymore...if he ever really had one. But he didn't want to be left behind, and if they were willing to help him too, he'd come. No questions asked.

The black stallion snorted and stepped from the forest. They apparently weren't leaving, and he wasn't going to let them stay.

"Who are you and what right do you have to be on my land," he boomed, slamming a massive hoof into the ground in demand. The scars across his lip crinkled as he snarled, pacing around the group. Scars seemed to litter his body, marring the bridge of his muzzle, the left side of his mouth, and decorating the sides of his withers and across his flanks. On the tip of his withers seemed to sit small but still visible scars, much in the shape of a predator's mouth. Each set of scars sat in five streaks, like claws had been dragged across his skin. He was massive, like a draft, and weathered. His fiery green eyes looked at them accusingly as he waited for an answer.

I watched the big stallion with wide eyes, faltering under his strong gaze. "We are leaving now, sir. Sorry, but the others have been traveling for logn days. Beware of the mare." I said, moving further away from the stallion.

"Excuse me, but, I was under the impression of this land not being owned!" I said loudly, looking up at the stallion whom towered over me. I stood my tallest. "We have been traveling for many days and nights, as Mem has said, but no stallion apart from these," I gestured to the little group, "Has ever been bothered to try and fight the mare with us." I knew it was wrong to stand up to one so powerful, biut, why should I care anymore?

(Oh. Oops. Mem is the first paragraph, Kunami is the second if anyone is confused.)

Eclips spun around at the yelling and nearly leaped to Xeik's defense, barely holding himself back from making a possibly provocative movement. Instead listening to the mares.
"wow, we haz hormonez?" He teased, chocked full of crude comments at all times; he stood there a bit longer and looked over the stallion.
"Heeeey, you look like me after a long day in a blender! We're just about to move on, but slowly I think." He could sense the new male was not thinking in favour of them, and was perhaps more likely to attack than not. Eclips worried about it for the next few moments, his legs ready to spring if something happened he could feel them becoming more and more poised as the seconds wore on.

( ooc: Eclips is a tease. XD He get's that way when he's nervous. :B )

Apache was still distracted, his ears placed where they fall and his eyes pondering over the sudden outburst of.. scary looking stallion. Well.. much prefered to that mare. He chuckled inwardly, but let Eclips charm himself round the new comer.
